ABC 002 // Fragmented Recordings takeover with QZB - Data 3 - Objectiv - Dyrekt
After our last event being such a success this time we return with our friends from Fragmented recordings who have been killing the scene recently with constant releases mostly being featured on the famous Noisia radio and hosting events up and down the UK with massive success bringing that dark, minimal sound straight to your ears.
This time we will be returning to the critical camp with our headliners QZB (Formerly Q Big & Zenith B), Our residents Data 3 and the Fragmented crew, Dyrekt (label owner) And Objectiv. Each artist has had a very successful year with releases in all corners of the DNB scene to the highest of standards.
The Event will be held from 10-2am @ Cubo, Fallowfield. If you have been here recently you will have noticed their top class Void sound system has been installed and is sounding on point ready for these guys to tear it apart! the basment has a capacity of 200 hundred so will be a close nit , intimate event for a select few. perfect for that Dark, minimal sound that will be provided from start to finish so get buying those tickets as they wont be around for long and we cannot guarantee tickets will be left on the door.
QZB (Critical Music)
Precision, quality and a forward thinking mindset; all those traits can be associated with the two guys hailing from Germany and Switzerland going by the name of QZB. Already gaining lots of support by Skeptical, Noisia and Kasra in the beginning of their musical career, they kept crafting a trademark style in their studio which is distinguished by a high level of perfection, an attention for detail, innovative and unheard sounddesign and an out-of-the-box approach to production.
Their first releases on Flexout Audio paved the way for their groundbreaking A-level debut on Critical Music which was released in September 2017 and reached top positions on all outlets. But the journey has only just begun: With forthcoming releases on one of the key labels in the game, namely Critical Music and a fully packed tour schedule, they're a force to reckon with in Drum & Bass. Finally this year of the Drum and bass awards has seen them nominated for Best Newcomer which they have a very good chance of winning due to their latest release on Critical music which was an absolute stomper.
Our resident Northern monkeys have also had a great year with Releases on Shogun Audio and Addictive behaviour. These latest compositions have seen much support from the Likes of BBC's Friction on his radio 1 show, Noisia radio and huge names all across the DNB scene playing in clubs across the world!
They will be returning in December to provide you all with the freshest beats from themselves and many others as they have been working away all summer in the studio mastering that dark, rolling sound they do so well.
Felix Has been bringing some serious tracks to the table this year with the help of our friends at Fragmented recordings and more he has gained lots of support from Dj's including Noisia, Skeptical and many more. Look out for what this guy has to offer as he currently has dubs falling out of his pockets.
Label owner and accredited producer Sam Sheperd has been running the label with great success over the last Year with 8 seperate releases so far from the likes of Himself, Akomplis, Objectiv, Samurai Breaks, Manta and the latest release from Screamarts which is an absolute banger.
We have witnessed this guys perform on of his raw, minimal but tough sets a few times now and can guarantee he is not to be missed out on so get there early!
